politics is bad business--desgraciados

Rush Limbaugh is not exactly a paragon of virtue(& who is these days...) but he's spot on in his assessment of Colin Powell(and Powell's motives of self-interest). The 'Washingtonian' political class is not motivated by principle, their main objective is one of power through appeasement and as soon as Powell found a way to get back in the good graces of the liberal media he was all over it.

Limbaugh on Powell, "He is constantly peddling his identity and his reputation rather than anything substantive or insightful."
It's a sad, but true statement and Powell has only himself to blame. If he wanted to vote for Obama, vote for Obama, but don't get on the mainstream tube and lie(appease the left) and claim that you voted for Obama because the Republican party is moving too far to the right--it's a blatant lie. McCain is about as moderate as one can be and still get away with calling himself a Republican.
Powell voted for Obama because they are two of a kind-- all style and no substance.
Powell, is definitely not the objective statesman that he pretends to be. But of course the liberal media will lap up anything he has to say as long as it falls in line with their agenda.

These people, liberals in general, can't handle debate--it intimidates them--they don't appreciate having their views challenged which is why they find Marxism so appealing. They seek absolute control and the silence of all opposition.
It's best that Obama won because McCain's appeasement would've only further tarnished the Republican party.
Obama is an out right leftist posing(for now) as a centrist.
He's from Chicago after all and if Blago was willing to sell Barry's senate seat for $1 mill, one can imagine the billions George Soros, "et al" spent to buy the Presidency. Do the math.
